“Enoch walked with God and he was not.”
This morning as I met with a group of friends during their Monday Bible Study, we were challenged to walk with the Lord in such a way that others see Jesus. That they know we are Christians. That there is no question that we are believers and when we are gone, when He takes us home it will be said, “She/He walked with God.”
What does it look like to walk with God, what will others see? “The fruits of the spirit for sure, love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Oh Father, we are Your workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works that you have marked out beforehand that we should walk in. May this be said of us that we “Walk with You!”
Such a lovely time this morning of sharing the Word of God with a group of ladies and a few of their husbands. They have been attending this study each Monday and studying Ephesians. Today they had a visitor from the US….me! I have met many of these ladies before and it was such a joy to reconnect. They so hunger for the Word and as it goes forth I truly saw satisfaction on their faces.
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness for they shall be satisfied.” Matt. 5
Tomorrow we will host Bible Study in Miriam’s home at 9:30 and then we will head to Chimaltenango for 3 days at the Pastor’s Conference. I will be teaching at the Seminary, once tomorrow, once on Wednesday plus counseling and 3 times on Thursday. What an honor.
Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.
Thank you again for covering Emily and I with your prayers.
Love to all, Cindy
