It has been another full day of teaching, counseling and spending time with friends. I am attaching a few pictures so that you can enjoy what I have witnessed by the hand of the Lord.
I felt the desire to go to Willie's home this afternoon to spend time with he and his family around the table reasoning through the Word of God. There were 11 of us with Willie at the head of the table. I asked Willie how he felt since Saturday when he surrendered to Christ and he told me that he felt so close to God like never before when he is reading the devotional that I gave him and the Word with his wife, Ella. I said to him, That is because you have been born again! The Lord then lead me to read from John 3 where Jesus tells Nicodemus that he must be born again. Not of water only but of the Spirit. We spent about an hour in the Word and it was wonderful to watch as Willie kept wiping tears from his eyes. The Lord has lifted the veil off his eyes and he now sees!!!!!
I have also been purchasing Bibles for the children that do not have them. Hardcover in their language. The little boys, friends of Joseph have been wondering if they could have one. I have gone to the Christian bookstore several times since being here and buying more each time. This evening the young boys came to me as I sat on the porch and said, Ate Cindy can we have devotion? They have been watching me with the girls each morning with the girls. I said, Sure!! Get your Bibles! So as you will see we sat at the table and the Lord led me to John 9, where the blind man receives sight after being blind since birth. Now none of the boys speak real good English but it was so much fun to let them read from their new Bibles and then share in English trying very hard to use words that they would know. I even stood up and played the part of the blind man, trying to find his way to the pool to wash. I was touching them and their faces and asking them to lead me to the pool and they were laughing so hard! We ended with the truth of being spiritually blind from birth and how it requires faith to go and be washed at the cross! At the end Ron Ron said, Ate Cindy, we must pray! So dear, thank You Father!
Love you all, Cindy
