You may think I am losing my mind but as I lay in bed this morning listening to the roosters crowing over the sound of the a/c I thought, I wonder how many times they are crowing in a minute? So what did I do? I got out of bed and turned off the wall unit and look at the second hand on the clock and when it struck 12 I began to count! 25 times was the count, 25 crows and may I say I really think several of them were crowing at the very same time!!! I was sure the number would be higher but nope ONLY 25!!!!!! Try sleeping thru that! Actually I sleep very well but when I awaken in the morning it was crazy how loud and continuous they are. Thought you might enjoy this information! I have had another full day in San Pablo City, delicious mangos, devotion with the girls and then I met with Olive for about an hour, Ben Mark and JM young men that are attending Seminary in which Sonflower supports their travel and food expense as the Seminary is actually free. They both are in the group Music for Christ who are performing the Concerts we are having. Great young men who desire encouragement from the Word. So thrilled to sit and listen to their hearts and open the Scriptures with them. We then took a walk to, where else, McDonalds!!! Wonderful time and they both seemed very challenged with the Word of God. I met again this afternoon with the teenage girls and we watched a DVD on Abortion Recovery, you never know who they will minister to some day. Abortion is not legal in the Philippines, thank You Lord Jesus, but of course it is performed. These girls have many friends and classmates that may not have an opinion about what the Lord has to say about this topic so I shared it with them today while it rained to equip them for the if and when. I am very happy with what the Lord has given me to do on this trip. The 3 Concerts only take up 3 nights out of 3 weeks but a ministry of encouragement can take place within the compound here at Open Door, thank You Father! Give me Your wisdom as I seek to minister, I am Your instrument.
Love you all, God Bless you dear Ones, Cindy
