One of the men who is working with us arrived late last night from Comi, it took him 12 hours to get here and this morning, he, Pier, Bonnie, Eleanor and I met for a meeting and the decision was made not to go to Comi. Even though mudslides are common here, Ovidio feels it would be unwise to make the trip. So we are going to be staying in Guatemala City for the week and on Friday or Saturday heading to Antigua for our Women´s Retreat. The men have been on the phone this morning making plans for us to do the same thing here, working with Women and Children. Teaching, crafts, songs, lots of fun. While they are getting the plans together we will be going to a Museum this morning and we are hoping to work with some children this afternoon. What fun. Everyone is fine with this and we are at peace that this trip is will not be a DISAPPOINTMENT but clearly HIS APPOINTMENT! We thank you for your continued prayers for every single detail.
I had a wonderful dinner and visit last night with my dearest friends in Guatemala, Adan and Miriam, Zuly, Melina and Samuel, we laughed and cried and look forward to more and more and more ministry together.
My sister said that Ed continues to improve although he is still on life support. I am so grateful for every prayer that is mention on His behalf.
This morning our devotion was from Matthew 5, we are the light of the world, and we are going to so let our light shine in the world so that those who will see will see the Lord and He will be glorified.
Love you all, Cindy
